The Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD), along with its affiliate Ruwad, is participating in the “Make it in the Emirates” Forum, held from 4 to 7 May at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), and organised by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology. The forum aims to boost industrial growth and support economic diversification efforts in the UAE.

During the event, the department introduced a special initiative offering investors and entrepreneurs the opportunity to obtain an instant industrial licence for just AED 1,000, covering all permitted industrial activities in the emirate. This offer is available exclusively throughout the exhibition period.
The participation of SEDD and Ruwad also aims to build direct communication channels with leading manufacturers and global companies present at the forum, fostering partnerships that support the transfer of technology and knowledge to local factories, thereby enhancing the quality of products bearing the “Made in the UAE” label and strengthening their presence in global markets.
