A newly signed agreement will help explore further study of waste management, waste to energy, as well as land and water remediation, said an environmental group here on Thursday.
Environmental management company Bee’ah said it inked a deal with Ambienthesis SPA, a subsidiary of Italy’s renowned Green Holding Group, to swap and explore new discoveries.
Khalid Al Huraimel, group CEO of Bee’ah, said working with the Italian firm Ambienthesis will help through sharing of environmental protection data.
“As regional leaders in the industry, we can leverage our complementary strengths through this agreement to create an impact on the Middle East and Europe. Our combined experience and knowledge places us in a unique position to address some of the most challenging global issues in environmental and waste management. This MoU signifies the start of collaborative efforts towards addressing these challenges, and redefining industry practices to achieve new heights of excellence,” Al Huraimel said in a statement.
Prof Dott Giovanni of Ambienthesis said: “This agreement will allow us to develop a huge synergic collaboration aimed to maximise waste management, waste to energy, land and water remediation processes. This agreement not only joins the industrial and technological expertise of the two companies and foster the activation of circular economy processes but binds even more the ties between Italy and the UAE in the noble, common purpose to safeguard and maintain the environment and our planet for future generations.”
