The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) has announced the launch of phase three of the “Ajwan Khorfakkan” project, revealing two new residential towers named “Layan” and “Juman.”
Transforming Khorfakkan into a premier coastal destination
Youssef Ahmed Al Mutawa, Executive Director of Real Estate at Shurooq, stated: “We are pleased to launch phase three of the ‘Ajwan Khorfakkan’ project, marking a significant milestone in the development of the project. This reflects our vision of transforming Khorfakkan into a leading coastal destination.”
An ambitious vision for the eastern coast’s development
For his part, Engineer Baha Nahawi, General Manager of “Darwish Engineering” Emirati engineering company, expressed the company’s pride in being selected to realise the “Ajwan Khorfakkan” project, which embodies the ambitious vision for the development of the eastern coast of Sharjah. He also extended his gratitude to Shurooq for their trust.
A residential complex to meet the aspirations of families and residents
The “Ajwan Khorfakkan” residential project features a unique collection of units overlooking the waters of the Gulf of Oman and the mountains of Khorfakkan. Covering a total area of 89,100 square metres, the project consists of six residential buildings with 185 housing units. It is part of an integrated vision aimed at creating a residential complex that caters to the needs of families and residents seeking comprehensive living experiences.
Sharjah real estate registers record growth
The real estate market in the Emirate of Sharjah saw transactions totalling around AED 44.3 billion during the first nine months of 2025, marking a record growth of 58.3% compared to the same period in 2024.
