Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SPARK) has announced the launch of the Sharjah Creative Accelerator, a programme designed to empower emerging creative talent to develop, prototype and scale product-led ventures across design-driven industries.
The accelerator is hosted at Base 39, SPARK’s newly launched creative hub that brings together designers, architects, artists and creative entrepreneurs within a collaborative ecosystem. The hub integrates design, experimentation, fabrication and business development, enabling participants to turn ideas into market-ready products.
Prizes, prototyping support and visibility
The top three graduates of the accelerator will receive attractive cash prizes, while all participants will receive fixed in-kind prototyping support, creative incentives, official recognition and visibility across SPARK’s innovation ecosystem.
Focus on furniture and collectable design
The first cohort will focus on furniture and collectable design, supporting creatives in developing commercially viable products while preserving strong design identity and craftsmanship. Twenty designers or studios will be selected through an open call to participate in a structured programme combining mentorship, workshops and hands-on development, culminating in a final showcase day before industry experts and potential partners.
