Sharjah Sustainable City and BEEAH enter strategic partnership

BEEAH, a leading sustainability and innovation company, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sharjah Sustainable City, the emirate’s first sustainable residential community, developed in collaboration between Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) and Diamond Developers.

The MoU was signed by Yousef Ahmed Al Mutawa, Executive Director of Real Estate at Shurooq, and Fahad Ali Shehail, Chief Sustainability Officer at BEEAH, in the presence of senior officials from both sides.

Innovative initiatives

The partnership aims to launch innovative initiatives in the fields of waste management, green technologies, system automation, and biogas plant operation, contributing to the consolidation of environmental and social governance and enhancing sustainability in the city.

Yousef Al Mutawa emphasised that the collaboration with BEEAH represents an important step toward establishing a sustainable urban community that will be a model for the region.

Improving life quality

Fahad Shehail noted that this partnership reflects BEEAH’s commitment to leading environmental innovation and improving quality of life.

BEEAH will design educational and awareness programmes targeting residents and facility management, in addition to using Sharjah Sustainable City as a platform for testing and adopting new technologies, and supporting sustainable community research and projects.

This initiative reflects both parties’ commitment to strengthening Sharjah’s position as a leading model of sustainable development in the region.
